2024 Firefighter of the Year has been Named!
2024 Firefighter of the Year is Chris Ferguson of Oklahoma Civilian Defense Station 37 has served 22 years. He’s a dedicated and hardworking Captain who recruits and mentors younger firefighters, ensuring they receive proper training and gear. Despite working two jobs, Chris remains passionately committed to firefighting, often being among the first responders and prioritizing others’ safety. He humbly avoids recognition but deserves more acknowledgment for his exceptional service to the community.
