DUBOIS — When will the Maple Avenue project in DuBois be completed? At the DuBois City Council meeting last night it was reported that the paving of Maple Avenue from 4th through 10th streets should be completed by the end of August.
Paving from 10th Street through the end of Maple Avenue should be completed by the end of September, and the side street paving is expected to be completed by the of October.
Council also discussed the first copy of Authorization of Debt for the Sewer Treatment construction in the amount of $86 million.
The redevelopment authority has received the deed for the old cosmetology school, they will be advertising to sell it.
Also, a contractor is being sought to put a roof on the former Tommy D’s building.
