Our Priority FCU December Community Spotlight Recipient is Make-A-Wish. Together they create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. For four decades, the Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia chapter has been recognized as one of the most trusted and effective nonprofit organizations in our region. Since 1983 they have granted over 21,000 wishes throughout 57 counties in Pennsylvania and all of West Virginia. With the help of their volunteers, they are dedicated to granting the wish of every eligible child. If you know of a child aged 2 ½-18 who is diagnosed with a critical illness, they may qualify for a wish. To inquire about eligibility or volunteering, call their local office at 814-938-8888.
