DUBOIS — More than $34,000 was raised by Penn State DuBois students and the local community for this year’s THON at University Park.
Four dancers represented the DuBois campus at the 46-hour dance last weekend. Donations made through Penn State DuBois supporting the fight against pediatric cancer exceeded the goal by nearly $10,000.
THON is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, and it has raised more than $200 million for The Four Diamonds Fund and Penn State Health Children’s Hospital since its inception in 1973.
