DuBois, PA – DuBois Central Catholic seniors in the Class of 2020 will wall the halls of DCC one last time as students today.
It’s especially meaningful because some of them have been in that same DCC school building since preschool, for 15 years.
Some adjustments have to made for social distancing. For example, since students aren’t actually having class in the building, this means that it will just be the Class of 2020 walking the halls, with teachers standing at the doorways instead of the entire school watching and cheering them on.
The seniors will also be wearing handmade masks in Cardinal colors.
Parents will be able to stand outside the building and show their support from a safe distance.
Because the DCC Class of 2020 has just 30 students, they’re hoping to be able to still hold some sort of in-person graduation ceremony the weekend of June 6 and 7 with proper social distancing precautions taken.
