DuBois, PA – The most wonderful time of the year is not so wonderful for kids who don’t have good food at their homes once school goes on the long holiday break.
That’s why DuBois Continuum of Care Community stepped up with Snack Bags of Joy, collecting prepackaged snacks to send home with Dubois area students who might otherwise be hungry during the school’s winter vacation.
The donations are foods that kids enjoy and can make or open without any help at home.
Special thanks to everyone who donated snacks to make sure every child in our community is well fed!
The school administrators will take it from here, identifying kids who might need some extra food over the holidays.
