DuBois, PA – Please take a moment on Veterans Day to honor the people who serve the country we love so much.
In DuBois, one of the biggest celebrations will be at the DuBois Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 813 at 114 Fuller Street.
A special program has been planned featuring music from Eloise Kosko, special awards and speeches, a salute to the colors, a 21 gun salute and taps by the Honor Guard are scheduled to take place as well. Lunch will also be provided by the Post 813 Auxiliary.
All are welcome to attend.
If you are unable to be there in person, Connect FM 96.7 and 99.7 will be carrying a live broadcast of the event. You can listen online at connectradio.fm. There will also be a Facebook live video of the event at the Connect FM Facebook page.
Take some time out of your day this Veterans Day and honor those who have given so much to preserve our freedoms.
