Sunny Athlete of the Week

Alexia Berta is a  7th grader at Dubois Middle School who made 14/15 then 24/25 free throws in the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Competition to quality for the State Regional Championship in Mercer, PA this month.

Lexi has won the State Regional Championship the last two years and looks to 3 peat this year at Regionals. Lexi won the State Championship in Harrisburg last year making 23/25. She will try to repeat as State Champion this year.

Lexi plays point guard for local team the DuBois Chihuahuas and for the DuBois Middle School.
