Local Sports Bring More than Just Local Athletes Together!
Congratulations to the ENTIRE 2020 Brockway Lady Rover Basketball Team, our Sunny Athletes of the Week with the Swift Kennedy Insurance Group! This past weekend the Lady Rovers came back from a 15-point deficit to win over Coudersport, 40-33!
Ciara Morellii got the momentum starts at the 1:40 mark giving the Lady Rovers a two point lead. Danielle Wood lead the team with 15 points and five steals, Morgan Lindemuth had nine points with eight rebounds, Selena Buttery added six points and 15 rebounds, and Ciara Morelli gave six points with five additional rebounds.
The Lady Rovers together added 13 of their 15 points at the free throw line making 13/18. They are 7-5 for the season.
